Scott was born May 4, 1978 in White Court Alberta and passed away November 12, 2014 in Toronto, Ontario. Scott leaves to mourn his passing his loving mother Bernice; sister Vicky (Jason) and their family Desiree, Christian, Shay and Tyler; brother Allen (Jodi); sister Nicole (Eric) and their family Paige, Shane, Austin and Jenna; maternal grandmother Vicky Closter; father Don Powell; paternal grandmother Edna Powell; step-father Ed Arp (Ashley, Cody & Lyndon) as well as numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Scott was predeceased by his maternal grandfather Stanley Closter; paternal grandfather Earl Powell; step grandparents Ed & Gunda Arp. Scott we will love you and miss you forever, you have left a huge hole in our hearts. Funeral services were held at Broadway Family Fellowship Melfort, SK on Monday, November 24, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Kevin Shiach officiating. Interment followed at Mount Pleasant Cemetery.
