Yvonne Winifred Horne was born in England (do not have a confirmed place of birth, we think it was Oxford) on March 12, 1944. Mom and Grandma (single parent) arrived in Canada at Halifax, Nova Scotia at Pier 21 after departing on March 29, 1949, from Southampton, England on the Aquitania ship. From what history records show from Pier 21. Once all of the paperwork was completed, all immigrants then loaded into trains to make their new home. And Mom and Grandma’s destination was to be Moose Jaw, Sask.
Yvonne passed on February 25, 2025, in Watson, Sask. She was predeceased by her Mom Winifred Elliott, her husband Grant Sinclair, In-laws Bubs and Winnie Sinclair, brother-in-law and sister-in-law Bill and Shirley Johnson.
Yvonne is survived by her two daughters, Sheila, children Christopher Wiggins (Colleen, Emerson and Everly), Brad Wiggins (Morgan, Levi and Joey), Amber Ganter (James, Ayla and Holden).
Kim (Ray Brouillette), children Luc Gratton (Kelsey and Aeri), Brady Gratton and Kim’s dogs.
Dale Sinclair (brother-in-law); Keith and Wally Sinclair (brother and sister in-law). Tim Wiggins, Cal Gratton.
Special mention Mae and Terry Arn, Lorne and Marge Sinclair, William and Shirley Davidson, Brian and Sonya Poncelet, Jim and Faye Marten and all other family and friends that meant so much to our Mom, Yvonne.
