Obituary of Ross Alexander Baumgartner

Please share a memory of Ross to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

Ross was born February 20, 1946 in Melfort, SK the oldest of 6 children to Henry and Vivian Baumgartner.
He grew up on the farm close to Melfort, SK. Over the years he lived in a variety of towns, most recently he resided in Vibank, SK to be closer to his daughters. His heart was always in Melfort, and so on November 29, 2025, he got his wings and got to go home.
In his younger years, he always enjoyed farming, anything rodeo related, horses, chuckwagon racing, fishing, hunting, snowmobiling, watching curling and dressing up in his suit and cowboy boots In his later years, he loved to just drive around and hang out at coffee row. Anyone that knew Ross for even the shortest amount of time would have a “classic” Ross moment or catch phrase to recall.
Ross will be lovingly remembered by his family.
Daughter Tammy (Lonnie) Lorenz and grand-children Ashley (Ryan) and great grand-daughter Frankie, Bryton (Maddy)
Daughter Jackie (Simon) Brown and grand-daughter Chelsea (Cody)
Son Ray (Kari) Holland and grand-son Reid (Brooklyn)
Siblings Ken (Linda), Linda (Gerald), Glen (Judy) and Jana and numerous nieces and nephews.
Ross was predeceased by his parents Vivian and Henry, his twin sister Paulette in infancy, his brother-in-law Glen Welsch, nephew Todd Woolsey and niece Jo-Anne Wheeler.
