Elaine Marie Connor was born on July 2, 1943 at Melfort, Sask., the second child born to Albert & Josephine Connor.
She was raised on the family farm in Pathlow, Sask. She started her schooling in Pathlow and then the Convents in St. Brieux and St. Louis. After graduation she worked at St. Paul’s Hospital.
She met Clarence Lummerding at a local dance and began dating in 1964. They married on July 17, 1965 and to this union were born two children Vincent born in 1966 and Sharon born in 1971.
They lived in Regina until 1980 when they moved back to the family farm where they resided until Clarence’s passing. Elaine made her new home at Diefenbaker until her move to the Chateau Providence in St. Brieux where she remained until her passing.
She is survived by her son Vincent, daughter Sharon (Martin) Thoresen, her grandchildren Michelle, McKayla and Jennifer Thoresen.
Her sister Dolores (David) Rheaume. Numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
She was predeceased by her parents, her husband Clarence and brother Milton, infant nephew Craig.
