It is with great sadness the family of Sally (Ursule) Sorenson announce her passing on January 16th, 2022. Sally was born in Maryfield, Saskatchewan on March 20, 1931. She married Gordon Sorenson in December of 1947. They had six children. Sally always tried to better herself such as completing her GED when her family was almost grown. And getting her driver’s license in 1976. Sally had a strong faith. She thoroughly enjoyed attending services. She tried her best to live by her beliefs. She’ll be best remembered for her smile and positive attitude as well as never losing a chance to knit and her penchant for rummy. She always longed to return to visit her childhood home in Annapolis, Nova Scotia. Sally was predeceased by her mother and stepfather Dena and Jack Nelson; her husband Gordon Sorenson. Sally leaves to cherish her memory her children Fred (Carol), Ted, Ed (Tammy), Lib, Ned (Bev), Jed (Gisele): her grandchildren Mark, Arlene, John, Tamara, Preston, David, Steve, Matthew, Cody, Danica, Lorne, Skyler, Zadian, Jessica: great grandchildren Jacob, Aanya, Zoe, Mia, River, Lua, Nyla, Katherine, Victoria, Soren, Anton, Freyia, Abbey, Julia, Colter, Jax, Ren: nieces, nephews and many friends Memorial Contributions in memory of Ursule (Sally) may be made to the Kinistino Jubilee lodge Auxiliary and/or to a Charity of One's Choice.
