Obituary
Yvonne Radke (nee Beaulieu) was born on February 26, 1925 to Francis & Hortense Beaulieu. Yvonne passed away peacefully at Mount St. Joseph Care Home, in Prince Albert, on November 13, 2019 at 8:45p.m. with family at her side. Yvonne was the youngest of three children, joining sister Alice (Alice Johnson) and brother Gaston. Yvonne married Harry Radke and they had three children Wayne, William and Marlaine. Yvonne created extensive gardens on the family farm, five miles north of Ethelton. These gardens won so many prizes, pictures of them were included in Voc-Ag textbooks. Harry was an accomplished pilot and Yvonne followed in his footsteps, obtaining her pilot’s license before she obtained a driver’s license. Her sons Wayne and William followed their parent’s example in obtaining their pilots’ licenses as well. The family’s love of flying and Northern Saskatchewan led to many years of their hunting and fishing all over Northern Saskatchewan and ultimately to the family owing a fishing lodge in far Northern Saskatchewan. Yvonne enjoyed time with her family above anything else and was the creator of many memorable family feasts. After Harry’s passing, in 1987, Yvonne joined Marlaine on many adventures following Marlaine’s career through Victoria, B.C., Fort St. John, B.C. and Toronto, On. Yvonne had the opportunity to go on many extended family holidays, including some in Costa Rica. Yvonne spent the last 16 months of her life under the loving care of the staff at Mount St. Joseph in Prince Albert. Yvonne was predeceased by her parents Francis & Hortense, brother Gaston, sister Alice, and husband Harry.
She leaves to celebrate her life sons Wayne and William and daughter Marlaine.
