It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Roy Grypuik. Roy passed away peacefully at home in the company of family on April 17, 2022 at the age of 73 years old. Roy was born April 20, 1948 In Melfort, Saskatchewan. He grew up on the family farm near Brooksby. He ventured away from home for awhile pursuing a few jobs including drywalling. April 1972 he married the love of his life Anne. In 1975 Roy’s Son Kevin arrived. In the 80’s Roy returned to the family farm near Brooksby. where he carried out a successful career as a farmer until retiring in 2010. Along the way his love for the outdoors took him on many hunting, fishing and trapping adventures. Roy is survived by his Son Kevin (Cathy) Grypuik. His granddaughters Rachelle (Chris) Andrews, and Lana Grypuik and great granddaughters Sophia Andrews and Elena Andrews. His sister Rose Galbraith, Aunt Dorothy Leathem. Roy was predeceased by his wife Anne Grypuik, parents Paul & Evelyn Grypuik and brothers Allen Grypuik, Richard Grypuik.
