Brother Jim Radcliffe, sister-in-law Betty Maunder, brother-in-law Robbie Robinson and nephew David Maunder. Marg was born and raised in Tisdale. She was one of seven children in the Radcliffe family. After completing high school Marg married Robert (Bob) Gale of Melfort. She and Bob spent years in both southern Saskatchewan, Carnduff and Estevan and northern Saskatchewan –Sturgeon Landing, Shoal Lake and LaRonge. However the majority of their lives were spent in Melfort and Tisdale. Marg always worked in the service industry, Eatons, George Hardware, Pearson’s and Off Price. She loved people and people loved her. Customers were paramount and she treated everyone with respect. Marg also loved her pets. Animals were very important to her. She fed the birds and rabbits and squirrels; she fed all hungry dogs and cats and any other animal that may have crossed her path. Some of her favorite times were spent with her special pets at her side watching the wild birds at the feeder. She loved spending time at the lake, sitting around the campfire roasting marshmallows and counting the shooting stars. She loved finding shapes in the clouds and pan fried fish. Marg enjoyed knitting, reading and most of all people. Marg and Bob spent their retirement years in Tisdale. After Bob’s death in 2005, Marg continued to reside in Tisdale. A stroke in June 2016 took away her independent living and so she moved to Melfort and this is where she passed away. Mom will be missed. Memorial contributions in memory of Marg may be directed to the Sask. Heart & Stroke Foundation and/or North East S.P.C.A.
