Ron was born June 3rd ; 1943 to Mary and Andrew Placsko at Bruno Saskatchewan. He lived with his parents in Pathlow until he was 16 years old when they moved to Melfort . Ron married Joan Senholt in 1964 . They had two children; Darin and Geri-Lynn.Darin lives near Melfort with his wife Jamie . They have three boys; Jordan, Austin and Landon. Geri-Lynn lives in Airdire Alberta with her husband Lloyd Proud . They have two boys; Dawson and Colton. Ron worked at various locations ---The Husky Service ; Melody Motors and in 1980 he operated the Town And Country Esso for nine and one half years. This was followed by an employment with Source X Oil Exporation Co in Alberta . It was during this time he purchased an Outfitting Business near Kelvington ; Saskatchwan which he still owned part of at the time of his passing. Ron has two Sisters –Shirley Montgomery and Gloria Bolen –both residing in Kelowna , British Columbia . He is predeceased by both parents -brothers in law-Norman Bolen and Guy Montgomery . He is survived by his wife, Joan of 51 ½ years -Son , Darin—his wife Jamie and their three boys -Jordan-Austin and Landon . Daughter Geri-Lynn-her husband Lloyd and their two boys Dawson and Colton---many neices and nephews scattered throughout Canada ! Ron passed away suddenly in St. Pauls Hospital on Sunday February 7, 2016 due to sudden heart failure .
