Obituary
Anne passed away peacefully on Wednesday March 29, 2017 at the age of 86 years. Her wish was to pass away at the Lodge where she was so happy. God granted her this wish. Anne was born in Wakaw, the fourth of 5 children. She married Albert in 1947 and they moved to the farm where they lived for over thirty years. They raised cattle, pigs, chickens and most importantly four children. They had milk cows for many years and the cream cheque was a big help in the lean years. In 1961 they built a new house on the farm with running water and an indoor toilet. Such a luxury! In 1978 they moved to Kinistino and Anne immediately joined the Lady’s Auxiliary. For over 35 years she was at the Lodge, curling hair, calling bingo and dancing up a storm. After family her greatest joys were gardening, card playing and dancing. It was a sad day indeed when her legs gave out and she could no longer dance to her favourite tunes. Fortunately she was still able to play cards almost everyday. On July 7, 2016 Anne moved into the Jubilee Lodge. She was so happy there she loved the staff and felt she was home. Anne will always be remembered by her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren: her daughter Linda Osolinski; Connie McKeen; Shelley (Warren) Brownell, Hunter & Jaxson; Lance (Samantha):her daughter Beverly (Cecil) Headrick; Rick (Stephanie), Morgan and Brooke; Michelle (David) Eliana & Cadence: her son Lyle (Norma) Christopher (Courtney), MacKenzie, Brayden, Cohen & Colton; Rudy (Joanne) Brooklyn, Mason & Kody; Darcy; Lee, Breeze; Angie Kriston, Logan: her son Larry (Judy); Michael (LeeAnne) Skene, Ty, Tanner, Kolby & Chase; Sean (Diane) Brexton & Dawsyn; Theran (Heidi) Parker & Skylar; Caitlin (Taylor) Chalupiak. She will also be missed by sisters Olga (Jim) Belding; Janet Marko; brother Elmer (Iris) Olchowy, sister-in-law’s Francine Hill, Dorothy Beaulieu.
