Polly was born in the Gronlid district November 12, 1921 and passed away February 25, 2015 at Parkland Place in Melfort at the age of 93. Polly enjoyed gardening, flowers, playing cards, bingo, music and dancing, especially traditional Ukrainian music, and visiting with family and friends. She was very active in the Ukrainian Catholic Church for many years. Polly was predeceased by her husband Mike Fewchuk, second husband Joe Skwark, parents Peter and Mary (Pellack) Moskal, brothers Bill and John, sisters Bessie Dobrowolski and Lila Smokot, brothers-in-law Mike and George, and sister-in-law Elizabeth. Polly is survived by her brother Richard of Calgary, sister-in-law Lena of Melfort, and by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Polly will be deeply missed by her family and friends. May she rest in peace. Prayer service was held at the Chapel of Melfort Funeral Home on Sunday, March 1, 2015 at 7:00 p.m. Divine Liturgy was celebrated at the Ukrainian Catholic Church of the Holy Spirit on Monday, March 2, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. The celebrant was Father Ivan Nahachewsky. Interment followed at Silver Park Cemetery. Memorial contributions, in memory of Polly, may be directed to Parkland Place Resident's Council.
