Obituary
Marjorie was born in the Brockington area on August 11, 1927 to Helmer and Olga Linden and weighed just around 2 lbs. She went on to attend Sabbath school for her early education, Pine Bluff and Carrot River Valley for the remainder. She married Edwin Sigvard Brink on June 28, 1948 in Melfort,Sk., following return from WW II. Marjorie and Edwin spent their first winter in Thunder Bay, Ontario where they both worked and soon returned to Saskatchewan in 1949. They farmed in the Fairy Glen area until Edwin's passing in 1979. They had three children Randy (Lynne), Bev (Del) and Belinda (Richard). Marjorie loved to cook and bake for family and friends. She made the best ribs and homemade bread by far and no one ever left her home hungry. If the opportunity ever arose she would play a competitive game of horseshoe and Yahtzee. Marjorie's family was always importatnt to her, helping out anyone in need with no questions asked. She had 8 grandchilodren and 13 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren. Funeral Services were held on Saturday June 13, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. from the Northeast Christian Fellowship Church with Pastor Paul Dubois officiating. Interment followed at the Mount Pleasant Cemetery. Memorial contributions in memory of Marjorie may be directed to the Northeast Christian Fellowship Church.
