David Allen Kostiuk was born in Melfort, SK on June 26, 1956 to Mary and John Kostiuk. David could do anything he put his mind to. After high school he got into carpentry before taking a break to travel with Ray Cammack Shows who put on huge State fairs. He loved to travel and reminisce about all his adventures across the United States and checking out the local fairs to relive the good old days. David had many interests and was quite an intellectual. He loved to read and researched everything. While rough around the edges, because of his faith in Jesus Christ, he had a heart for the less fortunate and had no problem striking up a conversation with anyone. David married Iris Ambler in September 1986 and resided in Govan, SK for several years building cabinets with Tracey Schwant at Paladin Construction. The marriage didn't last but we would take the bus to visit him whenever we could. He ended up buying an acreage near Star City where he spent his last years playing his guitars and tending to his yard and garden. David passed away in his home on Thursday February 3rd, 2022. Preceeded by his sister Lilian. He leaves behind his mother Mary, his siblings Ron (Jeanette), Valerie, Judy and Yvonne, his children Dylan, Alena, Stephen, his only grandson Logan, and many nieces and nephews. He will always be remembered for his love of blues and gospel music, planting huge gardens and jamming around a fire or talking about everything under the sun. Life on earth will not be the same without him. Until we see you again in Heaven.. Bye for now pops.
