Robert was born on June 20, 1929 at Silver Park, Sask. to Alfred & Dorothy (nee Slinn) Clark. He was raised on a farm and went to school in Silver Park. Robert married Elizabeth Myrheim in 1956 and together they had eight children. He was employed at Main Plumbing & Heating and numerous other jobs as well as being self employed in Melfort, where they lived until they moved to a farm by Pleasantdale for a few years until their divorce. He then moved to Prince Albert where he worked at Cas Plumbing and Heating. There he met Delores (Cowles) in 1976 and they were married August 15, 1996 in Victoria, B.C. They lived in Prince Albert and his family grew with the addition of Delores’ six children. Robert was for many years self employed in plumbing and was generally a jack of all trades. He farmed with Delores in Meath Park for 10 years then moved to Little Bear Lake and opened a Resort business for 8 years. Robert retired to Smeaton, SK where his health started failing. Although he grumped about the time Delores spent in the garden, he still admired the flowers and often bragged about them to others. He is survived by his first wife Elizabeth and their seven children Kathy (Taras), Kim (Linda), Ken (Pam), Krystal, Keith, Karen (Albert), Kalvin (Susan). His second wife Delores and his step children Laurie, Karen, Donna, Sam (Margie), Kevin (Bev), Marlowe (Sharlene). His brothers Bernard & Vernon (Shiela) and one sister-in-law Verna. His brothers-in-law Norman and Dale Myrheim, Frank & Ken Babel. He is also survived by two generations of grandchildren and step grandchildren and 3 generations of nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, son Kirt, one sister Hilda (Quibel), 5 brothers and 3 sisters-in-law Fred (Betty), Garnet (Marion), Earl (Lorraine), Victor, William and brother-in-law Cecil Quibel.
