Obituary
Frances Rose was born in Readlyn, Sask. on January 12, 1934, to Joe and Bertha Harris.
She was the youngest of six children that included Jack, Joan Shelstrom, Wallace, Lenard, Sheila Buckton.
Frances graduated from Daleville School in 1953, and married the love of her life, Bob Folden, on October 28, 1953.
She loved having family and friends around. Not having children of her own, her pet dogs and cats became her beloved companions.
Her interests included playing the piano, organ and accordion, singing, reading murder mysteries, playing cards, board games, doing jigsaw puzzles, gardening, and keeping abreast of the world’s news and sports.
Frances enjoyed curling and fishing. Bobby and Frances had many enjoyable northern camping trips in their truck camper.
Frances was very community minded. She was a member of the Pleasantdale Seniors and Community Association, a member of the Pleasantdale United Church, and always was a willing volunteer.
Frances is predeceased by her parents, her husband, Robert, all her siblings, her sisters-in-law, Velma and Nellie Harris, and Gladys Folden, and brothers-in-law Charlie Shelstrom, Don Buckton and Melvin Folden.
Frances is survived by her sisters-in-law Delores Harris and Lois Folden, brother-in-law Russel (Gloria) Folden, and numerous nieces and nephews.
