Fred was born on May 10, 1947 in Kinistino, Saskatchewan to Herbert and Catharina Boe. He grew up on a farm north of Weldon and received his education at the Weldon School. He remained on that same farm until a couple days before his passing. Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 38 years, Lorraine, and their children; Beverly (Kevin) Wood, Austin and Ryley, Dennis Boe. His sister Edith Thoresen and her children Martin, Kevin, Kelly, Deanne and Michael and their families. He was predeceased by his parents Herbert and Catharina Boe, his mother and father-in-law, Walter and Elaine Erickson and his brother-in-law Martin (Edwin) Thoresen.
