Obituary
It is with heavy hearts that we, the family of Lyle Padget announce his passing on Friday the 29th of October, 2021 in the Melfort Hopital surrounded by his loving family. Lyle was born in Hafford, SK on April 2, 1939 to parents Pearl and Albert Padget. He was raised and attended school in Sonningdale before moving to Kinistino in 1958 to begin his career in the meat business that continued for over 50 years. He started a hobby of beekeeping with 7 hives that grew into over 500 hives at one point. While in Kinistino, he met the love of his life Pauline Dewing and they were married on July 11th, 1962. They were blessed with three children, Roland, Raylene and Ramona. Lyle was a wonderful loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He spent time on the school board and town council as well as having a passion for being outdoors, puttering in the garden and had a love for his flowers. He also spent countless hours in his shed making wooden crafts and keepsakes. Dad was always coming up with his little jokes and sayings, getting a rise out of all of us for a good laugh. In the later years he enjoyed coffee row, visiting with friends and family and took pride in seeing the grandchildren and great-grandchildren come for visits. He will be sadly missed along life’s way, quietly remembered everyday…no longer in our life to share, but in our hearts, he is always there. Lyle was predeceased by his parents Pearl and Albert Padget and brother Gerald. Left to mourn are his loving wife Pauline of 59 years, son Roland (Audrey), daughters Raylene and Mona; seven grandchildren: Ryan (Allison), Riley (Kaela), Travis, Brandon (Natasha), Tyra (Dez), Chantal and Kendra (Brock); Six great-grandchildren: Wyatt, Cade, Olivia, Jaxon, Oaklynn and Enzo; Brother Stan (Frances) Padget, sister Yvonne Padget and sister-in-law Lynda Padget as well as numerous nieces and nephews. The family widhes to thank the doctors and nursing staff at the Melfort Hospital. A Private Family Graveside Memorial will take place officiated by Gladys Court.
