Obituary of Ardean Lloyd Wallaker

Ardean was born June 18, 1927 on the farm east of Spalding. He was the third of eight children born to Almer and Zylpha Wallaker. He grew up on the homestead near Lake Edward and attended Lake Edward school until grade 8 when he left school to work on the family farm.

He spent his 20’s exploring work opportunities across Canada.

On July 14,1960 he married Doris Olson at Imanual Lutheran Church, Naicam SK. Their family quickly grew with the arrival of Anna Marie, Dale, Lyle and Penny Lou.

Dale died suddenly in a vehicle accident October 3, 1991.

Doris passed away from Non-Hodgins Lymphoma July 26, 1993.

January 14, 2007 at Dovre Lutheran Church Spalding, Ardean married Liz Pendle.

Ardean is survived by Liz; Anna Marie (Roger); Lyle (Heather); Penny Lou (Derek); Stepchildren: Terry; Brenda (Marty); Susie (Rod); Polly (Kyle).

Grandchildren: Sheena Marie (Danny); Jennifer (James); Nathan (Brittany); Andrew (Julie); Morgan; Miles (Judy); Braden.

Great grandchildren: Brenden, Brooklyn, Rienette, Hailey, Wyatt, Adeline, Ivy, Bree & Daisy

Step-grandchildren: Mitch (Jenny) Matthew; Danika (Evan); Micheala (Brandon), Jon; Jolene (Michael), Coletin (Cassidy).

Step-great grandchildren: Hayley, Gabriella; Oliver, Evie.

Brother’s Ralph (Martha); Marlyn (Betty). Numerous in-laws out-laws nieces nephews & grand-nieces and nephews are left to celebrate Ardean.

Dad was predeceased by his parents, 1st wife Doris, son Dale, sister Alma, brothers Wesley, Harvey, Garfield, and Wayne and by his daughter-in-law Sheila, step daughter Clara , step-grandson Tysene.

Memorial contribution in memory of Ardean may be directed to the Dovre Lutheran Cemetery Fund Spalding, Sask. and or to the Canadian Cancer Society.
