Obituary of Mike Brataschuk

Mike Brataschuk was born on October 30, 1930 to Lukian and Agnes Brataschuk in Margo, Saskatchewan. Mike married Marilyn Fountain on February 21, 1964. They had four children; Wendy, Wanda, Mark and Myron. Mike and Marilyn farmed east of Spalding for 26 years, later moving in 1990 to Albert for 6 years. Finally settling in Melfort in 1996. Mike continued his love for farming by working for a local farmer until he retired at the age of 84. mike loved to golf with his twin brother John in the summer and he enjoyed his winters curling. He will be deeply missed by his wife of 60 years, Marilyn, and children, Wendy (Blaine) Jackson, Wanda (Trent) Derkatz, Mark Brataschuk and Myron Brataschuk. He was a cherished grandfather to Brittney, Scott, Carly (Jordan), Matthew, Rylie, Brody, Jacob, Blake, Christy. Great grandchildren Harlow, Mila, Jackson and Lennon. As well as numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
