Obituary of Doris Fullerton

Doris Fullerton was born at Teesdale, England on November 14, 1926.  She passed away April 6, 2024 at the age of 97 years. Doris was the daughter of Bill and Bessie Smith.  In 1929 the family immigrated to Canada and settled in the Pleasant Valley District. Doris married Lloyd Fullerton on December 21, 1946 and moved to the Resource district.  Lloyd passed away January 6, 1995.  She stayed on the farm for a few years and then moved into Caskey Place in Melfort, Sask. She liked cats, dogs, horses and she loved to read books, she thoroughly enjoyed living on the farm. She was predeceased by her parents Bill Smith - Jan. 27, 1994, Bessie Smith - December 14, 1974 and her husband Lloyd - January 6, 1995. She is survived by her daughter Charlotte Aley of Oliver, B.C., her son Clinton Fullerton of Humboldt, Sask.  Granddaughters Barbara Aley of Kingston, Ontario and Rhonda Smith of Biggar, Sask. as well as many great grandchildren.  A very dear friend Lawrence Skwark of Resource, Sask. and numerous other friends. Doris will be sadly missed, but fondly remembered.
