Mary Barbara Kucher was born September 3, 1933 at South Allan, Sask to Michael & Marion Welder. Being the eldest of ten children, she helped raise all the younger children.
She married Andrew Kucher in 1954, to this union were born three children. They lived in various communities Young, Zelma, Watrous, Nipawin, Prince Albert and then Melfort. Mary was co‑owner of Kucher Superclean and Andmar Trophy in Melfort. She worked janitorial for PA Rentals and Leasing for many year. She retired but still did some caretaking of many buildings.
Mom had many talents; cooking, canning, gardening she loved her flowers, sewing, making Afghan’s, playing cards with neighbours, camping, fishing to mention a few.
She always welcomed everyone into her home with open arms. She always went out of her way to help family and friends. She was always so proud of her children and grandchildren.Mary is survived by her family Phil (Carla), Marilyn (Robert), Linda (Rod). Eight grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her parents Mike and Marion Welder, her husband Andy and five siblings.
Special thank you to grandson Tyler for all of the extra care given to Mary.
